for my wedding. the grooms parents are having that side of the family stay with them.. as many as the house will hold.. on my side.. (bride) My family..that is coming from out of town.. is staying at my house.. regardless of how many actually fit lol.. I hardly ever see them we live so far away.. that i would rather have them at my house for a week. then in a hotel.. the one bathroom is going to suck tho lol..

NO NO NO !!!!
Its the responsibility of bride's parents to make arrangements for the out of town guest, either in their own house or rent a place or something.
If they have asked you then, maybe they think of you as a family now and that you can accomodate a couple of their guest ;)

Absolutely not. I've never heard of that tradition; it's not something I would expect. I agree that you have enough to do before the wedding without having to entertain guests in your home.

THE BRIDES FAMILY PROVIDES FOR THE BRIDES GUESTS AND VICEVERSA FOR THE GROOM UNLESS THEY HAVE EXTRA ROOM AND DO NOT MIND THE HUSTLE AND BUSTLE OF OUT OF TOWN GUESTS.
