Can you donate blood when you've got alerigic asthma?

    Asthma:

    Donation acceptable as long as you are not having difficulty breathing at the time of donation and you otherwise feel well. Medications for asthma do not disqualify you from donating.

    yes, the only thing they won't take blood from is someone who has blood borne infectious diseases, tb, of if you have a low hct (low blood count)

    (at least, I've got alergical asthma and always let me do so)

    Yes, it is not a blood disease, it is a respiratory condition
