If you had the chance to interview anyone you wanted, for twenty minutes, who who he/she be? Why this person?

Please think carefully about this. If you consider what your most burning, nagging questions are, your answer may better reflect what it is you truly want to find out (and from whom).

It would be my dad. He died when I was 9 under odd circumstances. I would like to know what happened and why he was such a crazy person.

I would interview myself. To know yourself in the day and age if tricky, and difficult. I want to know what I really think, not what I say I think. How do I really feel about my life. Am I really ok with the fact that i have been sick for so long? That I have had to fight and work for everything even my life since I was 3? While my sibling didnt? I love my sis so much, but are we really that much alike? Why am I dating a guy when Im in love with another? Why do i read so much, up to 4 books a day. Why do I do so many plays when I have no talent? Why am I friends with the people I am friends with? And so forth. Look this is probably not the answer that your looking for. But I would want to know my answers. i would want the chance for everything to slow down and figure out who i am. So I would interview myself.

"What caused you to change your mind?"

When a powerful man changes his mind, he can liberate millions of people. This is why I believe the above question would be quite instructional.

I wish I could interview Frederik Willem de Klerk (the last State President of Apartheid South Africa). He is best known for agreeing to end apartheid, South Africa's racial segregation policy. He won the Nobel Peace Prize with Nelson Mandela in 1993 for his role in the ending of apartheid.

Or Mikhail Gorbachev, who also won the Nobel Prize in 1990.

There have been great men throughout history, like Pope John Paul II (whose one-year anniversary of his passing away is celebrated today).

But unlike other great men, De Klerk and Gorbachev did not start out by saying Yes. They initially said No. What changed their mind (or should I say their heart)?

Why did they change and say Yes to freedom? There must have been an event or a series of events or deeply insightful observations that caused them to change.

    It's so mysterious...

I consider myself to be lucky, because I am a journalist and have-to a great extent - been able to pick a number of people on my "wish list".

Probably the most intersting was actor Peter Ustinov, who sadly died last year.

I would have liked to interview Peter Sellers,Pope John Paul 2 and Hitler amongst many, many others. Good question! Kev UK.

The first person who popped into my mind was Bill Clinton.

I find him to be fascinating.

Then, with further thought, Marilynn Monroe arose as I would like to know the details of how she actually died.
