Why do people?

People like to think they're superior. The easiest way to do that is to ridicule and correct other people. The anonimity of the internet gives them a prime opportunity to do so without fear of being held responsible for their actions. So, on a site like this, all the jerks come out to play.

I get rude when I see hatred in the question. Say, if the questioner shows they're xenophobic, racist, homophobic, etc. And that's because I feel attacked, so I attack back. Mind you, I'm a foreigner for Americans, but I'm not black or gay, so the attack wouldn't be on me in those cases, but I take it personally, anyway. The rest of the time, I am just as polite as I can. And if all I have to say about the question is that I think it's stupid, I just don't answer, as your mother would.

This world is full of both good and bad. Some pay a visit to this site just to wash out their frustrations, trouble, tensions, etc... like they just want to freshen up, feel lighter and it is best done when they answer some silly questions. Although many don't do this and they generally remove their frustrations on the first question that they get. Thus, you get such rowdy answers... But take them lightly, might be some time even you feel lighter on doing so??? And yeah, some of these answers also make you smile on their silly head-n-toe-less comments...

If people don't like something it's their nature to complain about it. The reason they get really rude on yahoo answers is because they're behind the computer screen and they don't have to worry about someone kicking their a|s|s, so they just say everything that's on their mind.

I know!!! People get so freakin defensive. I'm not tryin to offend anyone, just asking a question...Oh, my favorite is when they add details after you answer saying how wrong or selfish you are, etc. If you don't want an honest answer, don't ask the question...

because they are looking at things though the "glasses" of their own lives... use the American Idol example. some of the people answering more then likely were big people and thought that the person asking was going to be mean to fat people so their defense mechanism kicks in.

Because they can and they don't have to face the person. Hang in there because there is a lot of really nice people here.

I noticed that too. I hate when they answer a question like "Yeah, stupid!"

you know people like that just want the points.

Why are you so offended and take it so personally? Don't let it bug you so much.

Let them amuse themself. You know you are putting your question out their to all kinds of people. Good, bad, nice, rude.

I'm pretty rude sometimes because I feel like it. Why the h3ll are you so worried about it? Your ignorant.
