    Thanks for the tiebreakers! We used to exchange books & cds along with the candy. We're not going to do anything this year because according to my parents 17 is to old to be getting presents on Easter. At least I won't be rotting my teeth! :)

    No. Presents are given during too many holiday's as it is! We adults do not exchange anything at Easter, but the children in the family get Easter Baskets with candy and maybe a stuffed animal.

    I always buy my kids something extra. I am sending my sons candy, a set of shorts, shirt w/under clothes and my eldest a book and yougest a C.D. My daughter is getting earrings as a gift.

    Source(s): Just a tradition that I started when they were younger. It used to be alot less expensive (coloring books and crayons) and I think it still should be but hey, I'll always be mom.

    My kids get a couple of toys and new bathing suits in their Easter Baskets....my husband and I don't get anything.

    No we always just color eggs.Don't even know why we do that.Probably because our parents did.
