Identity Loss???

I am getting married in December & while i love my fiancee dearly, i am having issues with having to change my name. I feel like i will be losing my identity in a way ( & feel like i may be resenting him a bit for it ).... Has anyone else felt this way? Any advice... Keeping my name is not really an option as i want to have the same name as our children & my name is already hyphenated....

Change the hyphenation. example: you are 'tracy lagnese-martin' and you are marrying 'steve boyd'; try 'tracy l. martin-boyd'? I do understand what you mean about loosing your identity, but you have to ultimately decide what's best because you clearly can't have all the names. Good luck with that!
