You can't lose 30 pounds of body fat in 2 months safely. The healthiest way to lose fat is 1-2 pounds a week. It's simply next to impossible to lose a pound every other day!
If you lose more than that in a week, odds are you'll be losing muscle and water, not fat.
You can lose 16 pounds safely in 2 months...A pound of fat is 3500 calories. If you burn 500 calories a day through exercise (which is A LOT of exercise...like a brisk 5 mile walk), then you will lose 1 pound of fat in a week. If, while doing that, you reduce what you normally eat by 500 calories, you will lose an additional 1 pound of fat a week.
If you cut your food calories back too much, then your metabolism will slow down by up to 30% and it will become harder to lose weight. If you're a woman, make sure you're eating at least 1200 calories a day or 1500 if you're a man. If you eat less than that, your body will not function properly.
Try to space your calories out into 5-6 small HEALTHY meals throughout the day. Eat lots of fruits, whole grains, veggies, and LEAN proteins (lean meat, egg whites, veggie burgers). Drink lots and lots and lots of water! Green tea is supposed to help with weight loss as well.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.
