why are people thinking that man evolved from monkeys?

that is correct. man did not evolve from monkeys. we evolved WITH the monkeys. i think some bible scholars are ok with this, but still maintain that the human soul is an express creation of God.

I think George W Bush looks awfully close to a monkey. Proof in flesh and blood? I think so.

well monkeys and humans both have five fingers (incl. thumb) on each hand and five toes on each foot. so maybe there was some weird monkey-human animal (hunkey?) and it evolved into two different animals. i dont think there is any way to prove any of this because it was so long ago. i guess we wont know until some time machine is invented...

I believe people didn't want to obey God so they started saying he didn't exist, so then they could do what ever kind of sin they wanted to, they wanted to make there own rules They wanted to act like animals instead of like God fearing human beings, so they had to come up with a "theory"of were thay came from :-)

I think the concept of evolution is horribly unknown/misunderstood by a huge number of people.
