I think there are different levels to this question & answers. On the surface, I think happiness has to do with unique choices that belong only to the particular individual. On deeper levels it has to do with benefiting others "selflessly". Giving in such a way, that one feels he is giving the gift of life. That kind of feeling of generosity brings extreme bliss that merges one into all things, perhaps for a short moment of happiness.
