How do I get a bit of contact out of my eye?

I mean the contact that you put in your eye. The other day my contact broke while in my eye and I still have a piece in my eye. Its right on my pupil and I've tried getting it out already my eyes has gone all bloodshot from trying. Any ideas on how to get it out without damaging my eye? Its a soft contact not a hard one as well.

Do you have saline solution? If so, have someone help you ... Tilt your head back (into a sink or tub) and have them pour the saline directly into your eye. This should flush out the bit of contact. If this doesn't work, get yourself to the optometrist office immediately or even the E.R. and they'll remove it for you. Leaving it in your eye will likely cause irreversible damage!
