Lots of silly posts again. Americans would be happy to pick cabbage or any other fruit or veggie if the pay was enough. But its not, because the illegals are willing to do it so cheaply. Its called Supply and Demand, and its Econ 101.

Secondly, its not racist or ignorant to realize that the social infrastructure of the US cannot bear the weight of so many illegals. The Health Care System is breaking, the Justice System is breaking, the Schools runneth over with students, and all you ignorant people can say is that we are racist for not allowing them in. Well, I hope one of the illegals, one who is a child molestor or a murder or a thief moves next door to you. Legals should always be welcome in the US- but a tidal wave of illegals is swamping this country, and because they have not been screened, there is a much higher % of criminal element that are illegals that would ever be allowed to immigrate legally. Wake up and educate yourselves on the facts of this matter.

I will definitely be shopping on May 1st. If the people that are here illegally do not like it, let them go back to where they came from.

Oh yeah - why don't they try pulling some of this crap in the country they came here from? Hold their protests there, protest their own government and demand some of the things they are demanding from the US taxpayers and see what happens.

If you buy fruit or vegetables at the market you would be supporting the illegals.

Their are Not "plenty of us" that are willing to work the fields. Have you ever picked lettuce? Even the poorest U.S. Citizen won't take that job.

In fact the Americans who give jobs to Mexican workers need more people. Demand is up.

If you really care (I don't think you do !) then don't give your business to company's and people who use or hire illegals.

Mexican workers wash restaurant dishes, clean our cars, pick our produce, take care of our gardens and landscapes,

butcher our meat, they are our maids, Et cetera - Et cetera

Go shopping! Buy your Christmas presents early! Don't let the freaking illegals make an impact.

If I was immigration, I would go down to those protests and start deporting! Hello? They're all going to be in one place!
