Avoid gas-producing foods, don't drink during meals to avoid swallowing air, eat slowly & chew well to avoid swallowing air, you can even try to refrain from talking during meals to (you guessed it) avoid swallowing air. On the other hand, better belching than farting. If this is a chronic condition that nothing seems to resolve, it could indicate a more serious gastric condition that needs to be eavluated by a physician.

Take Sweddish Bitters after every meal--aids tons in digestion, or take peppermint oil get caps. Both are available at a health food store
