    yes. wireless can only be high-speed. cant have wireless dialup. the network administrator can limit the speed from each computer on the network, but it's still considered high speed.

    Your modem just determines if the signal is wireless or not. It won't determine whether or not you are high-speed. The provider and plan you go with will determine whether or not you are high speed. And depending on what provider and plan you get, they may have some recommendations for the kind of modem you should use...

    No. It just means that you have no wires.

    Your internet service could be high, medium or slow, it has no bearing on weather or not you are wireless.

    Usually anything above dial-up (56Kbps) or ISDN(110Kbps) is considered high-speed. Wireless is usually considered high-speed.

    no not at all,dependends on the air traffic abd obstructions if any, also the distance from wireless device, as the length increases the strength of the signall too decreases.
