I thought I understood women, but I need help with this one.?

Well if she got offensive I would think that she was hopfully telling you the truth. But just say you really enjoyed the time you had been spending talking . she may have got pissy because she thought you didn't believe her. try to be patient and if the following week she seems to be to busy maybe she isn't what you really want or unfortunately your not what she wants.. I met my boyfriend of almost 3 yrs on match .com you could try that route I'm 38, and it really worked for us. goodluck

Well, I really can't generalize this and say that all girls do this or that. But I don't think that you're focusing on the right area. I think instead of worrying about her "Playing" you, you should focus on communication. If you guys can't tell each other what's up in the relationship, or just an answer to the simple question, "Hey, how was your day?" without making something up, then maybe you shouldn't be together. Learn to talk things out with her, that's my suggestion.

Busy or not, usually when a girl meets a guy and she really likes him, the "honeymoon" period should last for more than a few months. Us women are never too busy for a guy that we really really like. Sounds to me like she is taking you for a ride. Maybe she doesn't want to hurt your feelings because she spent so much time with you the first week!

Well sometimes some woman just want to keep a stable relationship, they don't want the friendship to go further and when they feel the guy is hinting sometimes they back off. They may have their reasons (in another relationship, loves someone else, been through a difficult breakup) or maybe she actually is really busy with work. Woman are complicated sometimes you just need to give them their space.

but also, she might not want to talk to you as much maybe she is wanting to see how intirested you really are and so she is taking a week to see if you try and get ahold of her or if you dont really care and back off!! jsut keep calling and saying you want to see her...just not all crazy stalker like!! im sure she will come around!

She may really be busy, or maybe she's trying not to hurt your feelings ... like telling you she's lost interest.

You didn't mention the type of work she does. I work 55-60 hours per week and still find the time for this.

I hate to say it but if she's telling you that she's too busy to call you, it's just an excuse. Goes both ways for men or women, it's just an excuse. If they are not calling you then you are not on their mind. Move on and find someone better for yourself.

It is possible she's telling the truth and it's also possible she's playing games. If she is really busy call her ask her how work is going if she starts babbling about this that and the other she's telling the truth; but if she starts the uh . . um game SHE'S A LYING B*#@&. And you deserve better.

She could be busy or she might feel like you are to needy. Give her some space let her make the next move.
