"More than a century after the U.S. invasion of Mexico that resulted in the annexation of Texas, Mexicans are "REOCCUPYING" the territory, but through less violent means and for different reasons,"

reported Monica Mendel of TheNewsMexico.com news service on March 25th.

"Most of these immigrants live in border states like California, Texas, Arizona, and New Mexico, the same ones Mexico lost when President Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna signed an agreement to end the U.S. invasion in 1848 by ceding 2.5 million square kilometers of Mexican territory to the United States."

The provocative term "REOCCUPATION" was not coined by an anti-immigration activist.

Rather, it was used in an Official Study published by the Mexican Government's National Council on Population (Conapo).

Mendel writes: "The "REOCCUPATION of this territory has been SLOW BUT STEADY, and the number of Immigrants is GROWING EVERY YEAR." Citing Conapo's findings, Mendel predicts that during the six-year reign of incumbent Mexican President Vicente Fox, ending in 2006, "Two Million Mexicans will enter the United States at the rate of approximately 380,000 per year."

By publishing the Conapo study, the Mexican government has formally embraced the concept of "DEMOGRAPHIC WARFARE" -- RE-CONQUERING the Southwestern United States through UNCHECKED ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION. But it has long been an open secret that Mexico takes advantage of our porous southern border to EXPORT its "SURPLUS POVERTY" and RE-IMPOSE CONTROL over our Southwest.

Last July Fourth, Mexico's EWE news service published an interview with the celebrated Mexican novelist Elena Poniatowska in which she noted: "Mexico is at this moment RECOVERING TERRITORIES it lost in the past to the United States thanks to emigration." "The common people -- the poor, the dirty, the lice ridden, the cockroaches are advancing on the United States, a country that needs to speak Spanish because it has 33.5 million Hispanics who are imposing their culture," observed Poniatowska. "Mexico is RECOVERING the territories yielded to the United States by means of MIGRATORY TACTICS."

But columnist Carlos Loret de Mola most clearly explained Mexico's "demographic warfare" strategy 20 YEARS AGO in Excelsior (the Mexican equivalent of the New York Times). In an essay entitled "The Great Invasion: Mexico Recovers Its Own," Loret described the strategy in brutally candid terms:

A peaceful mass of people ? carries out slowly and patiently an UNSTOPPABLE INVASION, the most important in human history. You cannot give me a similar example of such a large migratory wave by an ant-like multitude, stubborn, unarmed, and carried on IN THE FACE of the most Powerful and Best-Armed Nation on earth.... [Neither] barbed-wire fences, nor aggressive border guards, nor campaigns, nor laws, nor police raids against the undocumented, have stopped this movement of the masses that is unprecedented in any part of the world.

This migrant invasion, continues Loret, "seems to be slowly RETURNING [the southwestern United States] to the JURISDICTION of Mexico without the firing of a single shot, nor requiring the least diplomatic action, by means of a steady, spontaneous, and UNINTERRUPTED OCCUPATION." The effects of Mexico's immigration invasion were even then visible in Los Angeles, which Loret archly referred to as "the second largest Mexican city in the world."

Charles Truxillo, a professor of "Chicano Studies" at the University of New Mexico, believes that Los Angeles will one day be the capital of "La Republica del Norte" -- a Hispanic nation straddling the border between the southwest United States and northern Mexico. The envisioned "Chicano homeland" would absorb the existing U.S. states of California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas, and southern Colorado, as well as "the northern tier of current Mexican states: Baja California, Sonora, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nuevo Leon and Tamaulipas," reported the March 10th Albuquerque News.

The envisioned "Chicano homeland" is also referred to as "Aztlan." The geographical boundaries for the proposed homeland have not been precisely defined; in addition to the U.S. states cited by the Albuquerque News, Nevada and Utah have also been mentioned.

While the BLEEDING HEART LIBERALS and the left-wing socialists and anti-war Bush-bashers are helping coordinate the open borders movement, it is a foolish, patronizing mistake to characterize the RECONQUISTADORES (THAT WOULD BE THE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS AND THE HISPANIC COMMUNITY) as hapless pawns of the American Left.

I saw some videos that made me believe that a variation on this might be the truth. What I heard was that the people who came here wanted to consciously reproduce and vote in Hispanic activists and take the states for themselves. Since they clearly had nothing to do with building the economic superstructure they wanted to take over, they justify this with the idea that Mexico had once owned certain of the states. Note that those particular people weren't here at the time, and those who were here at the time became American long ago.

I now believe that this 'Atzlan' group does exist and apparently has subgroups at least all over California. However, I think it is sort of like the Black Panthers were, an extremist group that feels disenfranchised, and feels they have the right to take what other people have. I don't think they speak for the majority any more than the 'white supremasists' speak for us.

The rest of the talk of 'this belonged to us' is because illegals want to be given resident rights and are using whatever they can say. I think it is hardly a legitimate argument, since if this were still Mexico this is not the place they would have illegally immigrated to when they were trying to leave Mexico for the United States. However, I don't think it means they mean to 'take' the land. It just gives them a feeling of more power over their future to claim what they want as a right. No one likes to feel powerless over their future, and it has to be scary to be an illegal immigrant right now.

I am not saying they have 'rights' to be secure here since they came illegally, but still, it has to be unpleasant. I hope for everyone's sake we can get through this phase quickly.

The Mexican government is doing everything it can to aid illegal immigration. They fund it for the sole purpose of trying to overwhelm the American populations in the border states with Mexican nationals in a grab at political power. The border states are rich in resources and real estate and Mexico wants to control them.

Only congress representatives, senators and other elected officials in southern border states. People in southern states have major xenophobia and fear people from other countries who usually tend to work harder and not even take a holiday on Saturday and Sunday, may take their jobs. This does not apply living to everyone living in southern states but general attitude is that Mexicans take jobs away and bring drug problems with them.

The government and its policy makers need to examine this situation closely and look at other countries across the world who are experiencing this issue.

WTF? Did you actually think about the question before you asked?

    To help you:

1 - How would transfer take place?

2 - If peaceful, why would the US over to Mexico?

3 - If in a war, would the Mexical Army really win?

4 - What reaction would the current residents of those states have?

5 - Do you really think that the US will give up California and Texas that easily?

BTW - this is coming from those who are EXTREMELY anit-immigrant.

I don't believe that. Many Mexican people live in the border states, and many are legal US citizens.

they want what they call their land back and they are slowly doing it through illegal immigration !! they say the united states stole that land years ago, they say they where invaded and that our government took that land away from them, that is why they feel they can fly the mexican flag, that they can come and go as they please and they can work here and not pay taxes, they want the land back that the united states bought a long time ago... if we let them have their way, you and i will be speaking spanish in a few years and we will electing a mexican president while we are living in the united states of mexico !!!

Mexico would never be able to take over our border states. They can't even handle their own country, that's why everyone is trying to come to the US. But anyway, something should be done with our border... I SAY SHUT IT DOWN. Do what ever it takes..

If they could they probably would. Their government is so corrupt and inept that they probably couldn't take candy from a baby. The activists are threatening this probably to make us believe it and give them amnesty for their illegal actions.

There are facist groups like Mecha and La Raza that want to take over the west. They are allowed to spout their racists remarks all over TV and get away with it.

It isn't true.Don't be afraid ppl, they just want a better life, and their children will completely assimilate. As long as something is done about the border to stop a majority of ppl coming illegally, there should be no problems.
