Why are fat people discriminated?

Those who are not fat, can't know what it is like to be fat! Therefore they don't understand that fat people are NOT lazy, ok a few are, but the majority are not.

Someone does not wake up one morning and say,

"I want to be fat! I think that it would be cool to be ridiculed and called lazy and ugly! I would like to have joint pain and back pain every day! Get short of breath just by walking up a flight of stairs! Can't enjoy nature by taking a hike with my friends, that just sounds soo cool!"

Some people it is easy to loose weight, some people it is hard, and some people can't! We are all built different.

It is easy to judge when you don't understand, and have not experienced it for yourself. Just work on it and you will stop if you want to!

Most fat people are lazy people that abuse their bodies by eating junk food. Now sure some people are fat for medical reasons but that figure is probably less than 10%.

But yes it is very rude to tell fat people to lose weight. It would be like telling homeless people get off their lazy *** and get a job. It is likely going to come across as uncaring and mean, no matter how nicely you put it. How would you like someone being mean to you about something you felt self conscious and worried about?

They are discriminated against because in this golden age of beauty and "looking" hot, they don't fit in are not nice to look at. Also.. I feel, that maybe you know they are not taking care of their own bodies, for any other reason other than what? Gluttony? (of course the ones that r fat because of medical reasons don't count) And I don't mean hey ur chunky or a few pounds over weight... I'm talking "Shallow Hall", "The nutty profesor", can't fit in a chair, has to buy two plain tickets to travel fat!!. Ok? I mean.. lets be honest... and in the words of Seinfeld.... "Not that there's anything wrong with that!"

Obesity is a natural phenomenon. It is written deep in our genetic code. It's purpose is to provide enough energetic compounds, usable for carrying the living processes on, during hard times with shortage of food. Women are the special case, for they have to provide "food" for an unborn child, as well as for a suckling baby.

In some cultures, plump women are very much loved and wanted, because of menitioned reproduction tasks. However, fat men are considered useless in every culture in the world, because of the male's role in the social life - supplying of food and protection from outer attacks. Therefore, fat man is discriminated simply for his look, which is in collision with geneticaly predicted.

In spite of today's way of thinking, where mental labour is more valuable than the physical one, neglecting the fact that most of obese people are "mental workers", society treats all of them equally - THEY ARE LAZY (which is not true - they are PHYSICALLY lazy, because of the way mental labour is done).

Nowadays, people have no need to run for food, or to fight face-to-face with attackers. Even the choice of sexual partner is not connected to "making babies", but to the pleasure of sex. For this reason, sexual symbols are made the commercial way - skinny, big-breasted women, and men full of muscles. Since it is not easy to achieve such look, because of the way of living in urban surroundings, and also because of natural reasons, many products are taken to the market, for the purpose of making the way of achieving "good look" easier, and those products bring money to the manufacturers and sellers. Obese people, obviously, use none of those products, which implicates that THEY HAVE NO MONEY (which is not true, again).

So, here we come to the point. Obese people are discriminated because they are considered useless in an animal way - they are not physically convenient, and they do nothing to improve themselves and to become more "animal". Noone has a single thought that in countless laboratories, bank offices, in NASA control centers, many smart people SIT and do their work proffesionaly all day long, day after day, and that they don't care what do they look like, as long as it doesn't affect their work and it's results. LONG LIVE CATHERINE ZETA AND GEORGE CLOONEY (and what about Bet Midler and Danny DeVito??? Aren't they as good actors as the previous two??? Or, maybe, even better? Think about it...)

Because they are fat.
