It depends. if the homemade icecream is flavored naturally(fruits for example) then it is true.
But it is better to make your own icecream because you know what's in it.

sometimes. With healthier "low fat" and "sugar free" those would be healthier because most homemade ice cream calls for whole milk or heavy cream and lots of sugar.
Check a gallon of ice cream before you buy it. You should recognize every ingredient and look at the carbs and fat amounts.
Everything in moderation though.

Depends on how you make it and which store ice cream you compare it to.
Search for low fat ice cream recipes to find healthier ones.
Better still, make sherbert, sorbet, or ices with no fat.

To tell you the truth i think it is. Amd homemade is way better than store bought. I think there is more sugar in store bought though.

screw ice cream- go on-line and get gelato recipes. looks like ice cream that you can make in just about any flavor and taste SO much better and it is way better for you.

depends what you put in it if it's home made you know exactly whats in it so you can use only a little suger and lots of fruit store bought stuff will have preservatives and stuff in it

yes... you can use skim milk instead of whole milk, store bought ice cream has perservatives in it which is bad for you
