I'm glad Negan won.. (neworleans).. anyone else happy about it??
Yep. New Orleans is much better off with Negan that the son of the worst mayor they ever had (back in the 70's). What's your opinion?
it's better tha asking, "do you like me"... hey, don't respond unless you have an answer, ok? I'm not form Louisianna, either.. just have LOTS of N.O. peeps here in Texas...

I think Nagin will do a better job of trying to bring the New Orleans culture back than his opponent would have. This is not a small job, by any means, and it will take a long time but I think Nagin will prevent the city from turning into one giant strip mall... he's also being very honest when he says it will never be "exactly the same" as before, but I think he takes the city's identity very personally and will "protect" that identity a lot better.

I am not happy about the way the so called recovery is going or with the direction the "rebuildint" is taking. How can you have an election when a good chunk of the city's population is scattered across the country and not allowed to put in absentee ballots. While I do not think the last mayor was any great shakes it appears he was right about one thing, the new New Orleans is not gonna look anything like the old New Orleans and I ain't talking about the scenery.

Neither one would have been better but since they allowed all of the people who are no longer residents vote, they never intended it to be a legal election by most cities standards. After months of living in another city, and with no plans to ever move back, how long will these people be considered a resident of N.O.
But the current mayor really failed to help his city and I can't beleive anyone would still support him.
But I guess he may be better than the other canidate,

No, New Orleans is not better off with Mr. Wonka. It would have been far better to vote for the other guy. But people from New Orleans are staggering idiots, so they'll get what they deserve.

If you are from New Orleans and are happy with the win, I'm glad for you. Let's hope he can get on with the job of helping his city and its people.
Send more money if you can. Someone from Canada, who DOES care/

If they have another hurricane problem, Negan will probably stand around with his thumb up his butt and looking around with a dumb-founded look.

I think its a really sad commentary on the population of N.O. They have an elected leader that completely failed them and they re elected him. Very very sad.

They should put him in prison and impeach the Governor of
the great State of Louisiana.
