.. do you think of this scenario? I'm looking at having my face redone.. actually, my jaw (tmj) for the 3rd time in about 16 years. The first two surgeries failed since doc No.1 was an idiot and doc No.2 was not skilled in this area.

My joints will be replaced (again) using titanium joints but the doc who MAKES the joints will also be there to make an assessment. What do YOU think of all of this? Can you list pros and cons?

I'm 47 and have not had a period in over 5 years, sounds like early menopause but is not early for my family. (8 sisters and Mom all began this process in early 40's). So, out of the blue, I'm having a terrible, heavy,, I mean, HEAVY, period. Is this usual? I've had all of the other menopausal symptoms throughout these years and simply didn't think I had to worry about aunt Flo again.. Anyone have comments, experiences?

I ran into my dining table the other night, broke my foot and my li'l toe.. supposed to be off my feet for at least a week; problem: my place is 3-story.. going downstairs is next-to impossible; upstairs a pain, too. Anyone know how I'm supposed to do this? I live alone so can't always send someone else to the kitchen, etc..

My son's gf is very sweet, most of the time, and I really care for her. We've been through terrible times w/ her at least once per month; messes up our holidays, like 29 Oct (the boy's bday), 25t Nov, 25t Dec, now 30t June.. I'm sure her tantrums have to do with pms and am looking for anything to help her. She actually attempted to drive her car w/ my son in it into cross traffic on June 30.. later woke the boy with bad cramps... hmm anyone know of anything herbal, etc... for bad pms? we do love this girl and they've been together since about age 12!.. 8 years!

Okay, I KNOW that smoking cigs is disgusting.. you can't GO anywhere and light up; it makes me smell terrible and I'm getting those smokers lines on my top lip... Why am I having such a hard time quitting? I am allergic to latex and adhesives so can't use the patch, have metal jaw joints so can't chew the gum.. refuse to take the "crazy" pills since I have so many allergies to drugs.. any ideas, anyone? Go ahead and berate me.. I prolly deserve it!@

..watching dateline.. this kills me! When I was growing up, you could tell the pervs by their looks... Are there more predators now? DOes the internet have something to do with this? Wow,. I'm absolutely disgusted!

I was in a very bad car accident in 1988 and have had more than 30 surgeries on my jaw and face. The jaw joints I have now are made of titanium and really hurt most of the time. I've been TRYING to find a TMJ surgeon, with no luck. So, I'm now trying to get out of this funk. I do see a pain doc (saw him today and cried the entire visit) and take lots of meds to attempt to control the pain... still, I'm depressed. Any ideas as to where a single woman can go to make friends? I'm NOT joking! ANd, I'm not into the bar scene since I don;t really drink. HELP!

I don't know why but he turns it on when the clock strikes ten.. too many nights. I have phoned and asked him to shut it down.. too many times... what should I do? I mean, we live in a duplex so share a wall..and my floor is vibrating!..; and, not in a good way!

you know that anyone can send yahoo a note that we're violating the rules though we've done nothing wrong? and, yahoo just takes their word for it>?? I think this stinks! i got a note from yahoo that I had violated the terms and when i complained, they sent another email saying they don't have time to check these reports out.. they just go ahead and violate you! That's wrong, no?? I know I'm irritated, still!

Most people I know drive only when necessary and most people I know drive used, older cars... they're small cars so do get better gas-mileage than most SUV's but, still, they're not priuses..

I drive only to the grocery store, the bank, the doctor's office, and I always try to add more than one or two errands on to each trip. There is no busline within walking distance and I cannot ride a bike. I run a home-based business so don't have to drive to or for work.

Yet, the jerk-in-chief is telling me to drive less or buy a new car. If I could afford a new car, i would buy one!!!

How do I drive less?
