MAN! Do y'all believe just how many pervs are out there?

I did watch dateline last night, and it made me totally sick. To the folks that say there are not more sexual predators out there today than in years past.... You really do need to wake up to the facts. I wanted to just reach into my TV and knock some of those sickos out cold! I think that the media is doing a good thing by bringing these predators out, and exposing them. If you ask me, anybody that commits a sex crime against a child should be subject to public torture. I don't care if they say they can't help it... and they have a disease... That is total bull! I actually had to change the channel after seeing the guy that brought rope, and duct-tape with him to his "date".

It is so sad that the kids of today can not even go into a teen chat room without worrying about who is in there with them, and what filthy perverted garbage they may try to do. The Internet has given these twisted souls a fast-track to use to violate the kids of today. The only way we can keep these pervs at bey, is to monitor more strictly where kids go on the Internet, and who they are talking to. In a way, I am glad that I don't have any kids. With everything that is going on in today's world, I don't know if I would want to subject anybody to all of this.

I do not really think that there are more pervs than there used to be. I think that it is out in the open more than it was. People are more likely to talk about these things more than they once were.

I can recall several instances when I was young, that I felt uncomfortable or was touched in a way by someone older that would be considered inappropriate , but we were taught not to discuss such things, that we should be the ones ashamed---not the ones that were actually doing wrong. I am just lucky that it was not worse, because I know some people that did [have it worse].

With the information that is out there, I cannot understand why there are still girls on here still asking for someone (anyone) to email them saying they are young & lonely, & some of them even advertise that they are "hot". They are just asking for trouble.

Sometimes watching that show I wonder if there is any man that can be trusted.

Yeah it's all so shocking. The only thing that has changed is the Internet provides an easy way for potential pervs to find potential victims. I doubt the perv percentage has changed that much.

Yes,...Quite A Few And Rising!....The Internet Is Just One Of The Many Avenues!.....These Avenues Can Be Used For Good Or Bad!

I think the media is a lot quicker to air these things. I don' t think there's more pervs out there I think there's less news stories.

percentage wise, probably not. But there is a lot more people out there, so the numbers go up on everything. Our society in general has a lot to do with the way we are as a nation.

no there are not any more than their were befor and you could never tell them by there looks.

i mean theres always gonna be pervs, its just that the internet gives them other ways to attrack or prey on people.
