Who or what do you think the Antichrist will be?

I believe the Antichrist will come from Islam, posing as the Muslim's awaited, Mahdi. I base this on Scripture passages starting from Daniel chapter 9:27...,

Read it. Its speaks of an abominable temple with a pinnacle and the Antichrist making his arrival there. This abomination sits on a wing of the Jewish (Solomon's) Temple.

Currently the Muslim Dome of the Rock sits squarely on a wing of the foundations of the destroyed Temple Mount. That sets up a red flag in itself.

I also believe based on current global and Middle East events, this "Mahdi" (antichrist) is alive and well in the middle east, ready at any time to make his debut.

The antichrist is someone not immediately recognizable because he will lie and cheat his way into the hearts of people until they have faith in him. Then he will start to destroy the establishments created on earth.

Nobody will recognize him for he will have the ability to fool us all.

It will be a who, not a what. I can't even begin to speculate who he will be though. The Bible speaks to the fact that he will rise to power from the Middle East somewhere. We must be very cautious of that and we must know what the Bible truly says. The Bible is all we have to warn us about the Anti-Christ.

I think it will be A rise in belief contrary to the true message of the Christ Jesus. A twisting of his words in a lost battle to make heaven attainable to the wicked who do not want to change their ways and be obedient to God Almighty. But what do I know? I love Jesus peace be upon him!

I think the Antichrist will be a communist, since they prohibit religion adn they believe in one power, themselves....

The anti-Christ will be a person, that will be allowed by God to rise to power. He will not be recognizable as the anti-Christ. He will not be controversial. People will love and follow him. He will bring the illusion of peace. And underneath that, he will be a lair.

I am not sure if the Anti Christ will be a person or a movement. I would say that it seems like the Muslim religion is very anti-christ, remember they wanted to kill a man in Afghanistan for convering to Christ. Could it be that their religion or one of their leaders could be the anti-christ?

I don't know. since he is fictious, I guess you can have the Antichrist be anyone you want.
