Has anyone EVER gotten a Violation Notice for Miscategorization?

    I've never heard of it yet. I have noticed that they usually move the question to the correct category. It's definitely a problem though that the Y! A Team hasn't fixed yet. Perhaps they should start listening to us. The category moderators would definitely help. Personally, I think every user needs to take a little demo on how this site is run before they can start asking & answering questions.

    NO, but I've reported for it. I'm very careful to not miscategorize questions, even my off-colour and silly questions. They must still be relevant to the category!

    No. I got a violation for answering with ARRGGHHH! (the question was asking if pirates are good looking). The violation was categorized as "not an answer" but the question was not a serious question.

    No but I did get a violation notice for answering "no". They said "no" wasn't an answer to a question. lmao
