...Don't worry lotta cats do that.

I was walking down the street yesterday and stopped to say "hi" to cat.

    pet cat ....cat drools.

Had a cat named "JOEY" years ago. He drooled like St Bernard when I pet him..

When I let him sit on my stomach while I was lying down I had to put washcloth to catch the drool.

    drip drip drip...

    its ok ...

    Sally the cat drooled also

    I love cats

Sadly, it's completely normal. I have had a few droolers over the years. I'm just glad to see that mine was not the only head shaker. He used to wait until he really got going and then shake vigorously, flinging drool everywhere. It was disgusting, but I knew he was really happy, so it made it worth it. If you have a favorite spot to cuddle with her, just keep a hand towel or something handy to wipe her chin before it has a chance to build up, and also to use as a shield when you see her getting ready to shake her head.

My cat drools too, but only when he's very content after purring for a long while, however; it can be a sign of bad teeth in older cats and can also be a precursor for jaundice (liver trouble). She'll be fine :) but you may want to ask your vet at her yearly check up to check her teeth and gums. If there is yellowing to her skin like the inside of her ears or gums or the white of her eyes, that is jaundice - and you need to get her to the vet.

My male cat used to do this, but only when I petted him and scratched his ears. I think he thought I was his "mate", because he's always lie on my pillow at night and rub all over my hair!

I don't think anything's wrong, just that she's VERY close to you, and cares about you a lot!
