Anythings with high fat content and very high content of sugar, gives an impression to people tha they r thirsty. Though they feel like drinking water but actually its not the quantity whcih they feeel will help their thirst. Infatc they require very little water. Also cold tthings make people more want for water. Eg. cold water makes me feel more thirst.

it's actually the salt conten & other preservatives, helps preserve the integrity of the ice cream so it doesnt
melt so fast like home made ones do

It doesn't make you thirsty! It's GOOOOD! Hm, try not to eat so much at one time, that would definitely help.

It freezes your mouth and it eventually makes your taste buds dry and you need something to moisten it up.
