What consequences am I likely to face I put a copyrighted content on my web site without the owners permission

Suppose the work is from a popular tech magazine.......

    Give them credit and there should not be a problem, unless you keep using it, when they have said no more, then you will have to pay. It won't be cheap, so be carefull.

    You can be sued if you use copyrighted material without the permission of the owner. You are in effect stealing their intellectual property. However, you can present a link to their website, and the article in question if it is there.

    They could sue you. What you could do it place something like "Copyright, property of Tech Magazine."

    A fine or six months in jail tops.

    A lawsuit from the owner.

    Just give them credit!

    you could get charged federally, and trust me, that dont look good on your record. they could sue you for HUGE amounts of money that you would HAVE to pay because it's the law. and yeah.
