I work 40 hours a week and I go to school two nights a week. If I can find time to work out, so can you. I go in the mornings before work at least three times a week. I'm there for at least an hour each time I go. I do about 40 mintues of cardio (treadmill, elliptical, or swim but only if I have more than an hour) and then I do weights. Don't work every single muscle every day, only do a few muscle groups a day. Like I always work out arms and back or chest the same day. Next time, i would do legs and abs.

If you want to lose weight, there are a number of ways to do so.

One thing is to drink lots of water.

Cut you're calorie to 1500 a day (1200 if you want to go hard core) But make sure that your grams of fat stay low as well otherwise its pointless. I usually stay about 30 grams a day. I eat a lot of vegetables and drink plenty of water. If you eat salads, make sure the dressing is reduced fat or use vinegar. I lost 70 pounds in 5 months.

Weight training. The more you build muscle the quicker your body will burn fat. Think of it like this; why does a V8 engine burn more gas than a 4 cylinder? It's stronger and faster. The great thing is, you'll also burn more fat when you're doing your everyday stuff, if you have more muscle.

Weight training doesn't mean bulky muscles either; you can have smaller leaner muscles that will do the trick. Use heavier weight with less reps. to save time.

If you're concerned about time, try a Boflex machine; you can do a circuit workout in 30min and get a whole body workout.

Also, eat more smaller meals throughout the day, rather than one or two big meals. Drink lots of water!

    Good luck.

I suggest Hatha Yoga. It is high paced yoga aimed at producing lean muscle in a little amount of time and can be practiced every day or three days a week. Fit it in when you have time. If you are looking to books, I highly recommend anything by Richard Hittleman. He has a 28 days to yoga as well as an introduction to yoga. It also helps increase energy and is fun!

Exercise every day, even if it's just a walk. I bring my cell phone and get my phone calls done while I walk, so I am multitasking. Go on a high protein, low carbohydrate diet. Eat fish, eggs, chicken, occasional lean beef or pork, low fat cottage cheese. Stay away from regular cheese, no bread, pasta, rice, potatoes, peas, beans (except green beans). No fruit and no fruit juice (it's sugar water, my dr says). Cut down on carrots and tomatoes (included ketchup). Use mustard instead of mayonnaise in recipes. Eat lots of salads, green vegetables. Salads only have one tablespoon of dressing for the whole salad. No ice cream, or other desserts. 8 glasses of water a day. No caffeine

Try a few egg whites/2 piece toast for breakfast. By a couple of resistance bands at the local sporting goods shop, put together a small routine with those bands you can do in between job/school. Also, try high protein meals at night, this will jump start your metabolism along with a good breakfast. Drink a lot of water.

take up a Belly dance class, try walking more and limit your food to fresh/raw fruits and veggies with minimal amounts of meat and NO starches.

I like walking over a mile a day and eating sushi.
