Can you name some BITTER FOODS?

The major taste groups are sour, sweet, salty, and bitter. I can think of all kinds of examples for the first three. But what are examples of BITTER foods?

My brother used to suck his thumb and I tasted some of the stuff they painted on his thumb...it was a hundred times more bitter than any food I have tasted. If the thumb sucking medicine is not working, maybe your daughter LIKES the taste of bitter stuff...making a food paste is not going to work.

Don't know if this counts, but I'm a huge fan of bitter beers. These generally contain more hops, or are filtered through additional hops during the brewing process. Some of them can create quite a pucker!
