Do those shower sprays that claim you don't need to clean actually work?

I am not referring to the new 360 degree automatic shower sprayer, but the ones that come in a cleaner style bottle that say to spray after showering and just let it dry.

They are not cleaners. They mostly soften the water to prevent spotting. I've not noticed particularly worthwhile results where I live, but if your water is hard, you might.

well sort of if its clean real clean like you scrubbed it with Scotch brite and cleanser and to keep it clean and use it it will keep soap scum from building, but i have used many of the brands on fiberglass tubs, and at first they worked good then they started to discolor the finish on the fiberglass and if you note this stuff smell very caustic and will take your breath away and its not bleach so i went back to the old fashion way cleanser and 409 & scoctch brite , good qiestion, tile it will help the grout and depends realy how bad the bath is, the only thing that kills mold funges and the black groth is bleach and is in all cleaner that say will remove mold and ther odrers its just bleach

what is a shower spray?? and for that matter what is a shower..

ever heard of soap and water.... or for cleaning of a shower.... some comet and some elbow grease!!!!! If you want it clean there is no sure way but to endure the elements of hard work there is surely no way around it unless you have kids to scrub for you.

They put a film over the tile, eat the grout and make the bathroom smell like chemicals
