That's a tough one, that I (fortunately) have to deal with alot living here in the Pacific Northwest. I just wipe down the shelves with bleach water and put an open box of baking soda in there. Seems to clear it up by the next day.

Remove everything from the refrigerator. Wash your refrigerator with white vinegar and water. Include the racks and drawers. Then keep a box of baking soda in the fridge to help absorb future odors. Hope this helps.

After washing the refrigerator with a baking soda solution. Put a cup full of fresh coffee grounds (not grounds that have already been used in the coffee pot) Or put several pieces of charcoal in a bowl and put towards the back of the refrigerator. Works like a charm.

Lemon and baking soda in combination works well--- ultimately, chlorline bleach if that doesn't do the trick.

get a bottle of lemon juice......i live on the east coast and we fish about every day. wife bitches about the fish smell when i clean and cook and store them......
