The true church must bear the name of Jesus Christ. - Eph 5:23

The true church must have a foundation of Apostles and Prophets. - Eph 2: 19-20

The true church must have the same organization as Christ's church. - Eph 4:11-14

The true church must claim divine authority. - Heb 5:4-10

The true church must baptize by immersion. - Matt 3:14-15

The true church must bestow the gift of the Holy Ghost by the laying on of hands. - Acts 8:14-17

The true church must practice divine healing. - Mark 3:1415

The true church must teach that God and Jesus are separate and distinct individuals. - John 17:11 and John 20:17

The true church must teach that God and Jesus Christ have bodies of flesh and bone. - Luke 24: 36-39 and Acts 1: 9-11

The officers must be called by God. - Exodus 28:1, 40:13-16, Heb 5:4

The true church must claim revelation from God. - Amos 3:7

The true church must be a missionary church. - Matt 18:19-20

The true church must be a restored church. - Acts 3:19-20

The true church must practice baptism for the dead. - I Cor 15:16, 29

By their fruits you shall know them. - Matt 7:20

Study them all and pick the one that makes the most sence.

You will find that even in science, the simplest answer is usually the correct one. Christianity has the simplest explanation for how everything came to be. One God created everything. Not a pantheon. The reson most do not like christianty is because they come face to face with their maker. They do not want to believe that they need a Saviour for anything.

Also, prophacy is the key to any religion to be valid. Are there predictions made? If so what? Have they been correct? What does each religion say will be the result of all things? Which one makes logical sence?

Obviously I am a preponent of Christianity, but I have studied many religions and the bottom line is, If you really want to know the truth, earnastly pray and God will reveal himself to you.

Look at this too, other religions will tell you that they are a path to God or a truth to enlightenment. Jesus said that he was THE Way, THE Truth and THE Life. No other religion has said that.

    Just something to think about.

    God bless, John 3:16, 1 Timothy 3:16, 2 Timothy 3:1-7, Acts 2:38,39, Revelation 19:1-21 for starters.

Since there is no scientific proof of what religion is right, the answer resides inside yourself. You should explore the religions, read the Bible and Quaran and any other spritual texts you can find. Find what instills in you the greatest belief.

COnsider this, the three major religions, Christianity, Islam, and Judaism all follow the same god and just have a different set of beliefs around following that same god. The dividing point between them is at Abraham.

The true one that feels RIGHT and TRUE in your heart and Soul. All rivers lead to the same ocean. There is truly no wrong path. Your heart knows your best interest and knows the truth for yourself. Listen to it and follow it's lead.

It is man's ignorance when he proclaims his own religion as the one and true religion. But if you had studied spirituality for many years like I have, then you would realize the truth that all religions are just different routes towards the same destination. God is everywhere and loves all.

It is not that hard to distinguish what is being spoken as wise and true versus what is being spoken out of ignorance and ego.

Only you can determine the right path for you. I know you have probably heard this before but, look into different religions, and beliefs. Ponder them for a bit, and decide what you feel is right or wrong. Noone really has the answer to this question. There is so much diversity in people, and that brings about diversity in mind set, as to belief. You should choose your own path.... noone can tell you what is right or wrong for you. I personally, am Pagan, and chose this path because it seemed the most logical, and the most familiar. It suits my beliefs, it supports my theories about life, and it made the most sense to me. So, with that, I wish you luck on your spiritual journey. Who knows...you may take a little of this from one belief, and a bit of that from another, and make your own path for others to follow. Blessings, and warm wishes.

Yes, there is one true religion.

EPH.4:5 "ONE LORD, ONE FAITH, ONE BAPTISM."

EPH.5:27 "THAT HE MIGHT PRESENT IT TO HIMSELF A GLORIOUS CHURCH, NOT HAVING SPOT, OR WRINKLE, OR ANY SUCH THING; BUT THAT IT SHOULD BE HOLY AND WITHOUT BLEMISH."

ACTS 20:28 "TAKE HEED THEREFORE UNTO YOURSELVES, AND TO ALL THE FLOCK, OVER THE WHICH THE HOLY GHOST HATH MADE YOU OVERSEERS, TO FEED THE CHURCH OF GOD, WHICH HE HATH PURCHASED WITH HIS OWN BLOOD."

I only know (Matt.7:14)one church that isn't following the Catholic Church and that is The Living Church of God.(Eph.5:27; Acts 20:28). It follows (1Peter 2:21)Jesus Christ's Example as the Apostles(Eph.2:20) by keeping the Sabbath Saturday Holy (John 4:22-24); Sabbath Feast Days Holy (John 7:2,14; Acts 12:3; 2:1) and observing the Clean / Unclean Meats(Lev.11; Deut.14; Matt.3:4; Luke 24:41-43; 1Cor.9:27; Ezek.22:26; Isaiah 66:17) and etc.

Rev.14:12 "HERE IS THE PATIENCE OF THE SAINTS: HERE ARE THEY THAT KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD, AND THE FAITH OF JESUS."

    Check it out: http://lcg.org/

The other religions however are following the Mediaeval Church.

Mostly (Rev.17:5)"Mother of Harlots" means it has "daughters" that are following the church's beliefs. Many don't know that the Catholic Church has "casted all the true doctrines to the ground and replaced them with false ones(Dan.8:12).

    For example:

    CATHOLIC CHURCH--

Trinity, Going to heaven, Rapture, Jesus's Death Friday and Resurrection Sunday, Worship Sunday, Pagan Feast Days and etc.

    SUNDAY CHURCHES--

    Follow the same beliefs.

    SDA(Seventh Day Adventists)--

Trinity, Going to Heaven, Pagan Feast Days, Jesus's Death Friday and Resurrection Sunday.

    OTHER SABBATH CHURCHES--

One or more of the Catholic Doctrines.

    JEHOVAH WITNESSES--

Jesus's Death Friday and Resurrection Sunday

there is no true religion. Whatever you believe in, follow it. If there's a religion that has the same points of views as you do, you know you found your perfect religion. Just don't start converting.

In today's society people view all religions as some form of climbing a mountain, and each one will eventually get you to the top. However if you study different religions you find out that their doctrines contradict. One may say God is one, the other may say we are all God.

Truth cannot contradict itself, it is called the law of non-contradiction. So logically we have a few options. Either one of the many religions out there is true, parts of each religion are true, or none of the religions out there are true at all!

What I believe is that a truly loving God would have throughout human history shared truth about himself and what is really out there, so at least one of the religions out there must be true, but which?

What you need to do is look at the different religions and seek to find one that is unique in its teaching.

I discovered Christianity for a few reasons. Many religions teach we are a part of God (pantheism) or everyone is going to heaven some way, however original Judaism was unique when the Jews proclaimed that God is separate from man.

Just getting out of high school and getting into college and the worklife I finally saw what a terribly place the world was, it is truly full of depravity. People mainly care just about themselves, and you really are all alone out there. But Christianity teaches that because of sin, man is separate from God, and God is so holy that he cannot allow sin into his kingdom. On earth man suffers because of our sinful human nature. In my opinion Christianity deals with sin the most seriously. Other religions do not consider sin as a reality, or simply say that if you ask God to forgive you, he will.

In the old testament, Jews had to place their sins on a lamb or another animal then sacrifice it for sins, because the Bible teaches that death is a result of sin, and sin MUST be paid with death. However, since we believe that God (Jesus) was sacrificed for our sins, he was a perfect sacrifice, and if we put our faith in Jesus, we will be able to enter heaven.

No other religion deals with sin so seriously, only Christianity says sin must be paid with death, all other religions skim over sin as unimportant. To me, it seems hard to believe that man would make up a religion like this.

But it seems likely that men created religions where sin can occur, because men naturally sin and it is very difficult for people to depart from their sinful ways.

This is all my opinion, seek for yourself and find a religion that seems unique--something that God would have made known for his creation, not something man invented to answer the unknown.

I think ALL religions are true. All of them are based off of facts, and really, aren't many of them based off of the same idea? There is a god(s) who made the world, we thank the god(s), and usually, there is a writing telling us about the god(s).

None is right and none are wrong.
