Why is every thing in this world a political issue?

Why are political labels applied to everything now a days?

Republican, Democrat, Conservative, Liberal…WHY?

I am an Independent, I vote conscience not party. I just don’t get it.

Why do people like Bill O’Reilly and Rush Limbaugh label, tag, classify, and pre-judge every little thing then gets said?

I too am an independent, I learned how to think for myself at a young age, people like Bill O'Reilly and Rush Limbaugh are getting paid to go on air and get people who dont know how to make their own decisions and follow what they think is right to vote and think the way they do and sway public opinion.

Because everything is political in life. You cannot avoid it. However, you also have to realize that, within both political parties there are subgroups that disagree as well.

All actions and intentions have philosophical baggage to them. If the grocery store is a half mile away, do you walk or do you drive? Do you enroll your children in public or private schools? Do you like horror movies? Do you believe in a metaphysical being, and how should you express that belief?

Politics is nothing more than the governmental expression of philosophy, which means that politics is a competition of ideas. And the fact that you vote Independent simply means that you take some beliefs from the Republicans, some beliefs from the Democrats, and weigh the two carefully when you walk into the ballot box.

Because the squeaky wheel gets the grease. When a bunch of nibshits decide to hoist a banner and stop other people from doing what they want . Then the grease gets spread around, the right people get told to grind that axe, grind that axe, the media plays it up, making people believe everyone feels the same way (impossible, but we never learn) and the the talking heads just repeat the whole mess.

Because everything is political. The car you chose to drive, has some hidden political force behind it. The food you eat, again has a political force behind it. The clothes you wear, the electronics you own, even your utilities are operated from a political environment. Heck even the air you breathe is laden with politics. Face it, the world is nothing but a big political playing field with varying teams.

    Everything is not!

You're in the political area of Yahoo Answers. It's just an illusory frame of reference that makes it look that way.

Ooops, I just read the sub-text of your question. I'll leave the post as-is.

Why did you name only conservative talk people? Sounds a little biased to me. And I was with you right up to the end.

It's always been that way because people don't know how to mind their own business. It's just that we have more fancy names for people we don't agree with than we did years ago.
