Before you were conceived you were not in existance. Once you are conceived you are known by God.

"Before I formed you in the belly I knew you; and before you came forth out of the womb I consecrated you, and I ordained you a prophet to the nations." Jeremiah 1:5

When you become a Christian through repentance and faith unto Jesus Christ...

"Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out." Acts 3:19a

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6

Your are only appointed once to die. You must become a biblical born again Christian or you will go to hell.

"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment." Hebrews 9:27

"The wicked shall be turned into hell..." Psalm 9:17a

"For the wages of sin is death." Romans 6:23a

So things will be a lot different when you die. You will still be in existance and will either go to heaven or hell.

"And many of those sleeping in the earth's dust shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to reproach and everlasting abhorrence." Daniel 12:2

Death is not like you were before you were born. Live after death depends on what you do with what the Lord Jesus Christ did for you on the cross. He died for your sins, He was buried and took away your sins and He rose again the third day for your justification. If you reject what He done for you then when you die you will go to hell. Believe and trust in what He done for you and you will spend eternity in heaven with Him. 2 Corinthians 5: 8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

The Bible says that God knew us before we were in the womb.

There are still references left to reincarnation as well... like when the disciples ask Jesus, "Who sinned, this man or his parents, that he should be born blind?" Obviously, they were talking about sin before birth, negative karma.

My grandmother, who had a life after death experience, told me that dying was like a big... Oh!... Now I get it... thing. She saw people that had died before her. She spoke with a voice that told her it wasn't her time yet. I don't know if it was like that before she was born, too.

My belief is that it was...

Yea, where exactly were we before we were born here on Earth?

    Did we not exist yet?

If so, then what is wrong with the belief that we will not exist again?

If you don't have a bible you can find it online. Try this site. I didn't read the whole site I just saw it had scriptures. Its really best if you read it yourself and study it.

All evidence indicates consciousness is a biological function of the brain. If that's true, then how is it possible to have consciousness without a functional brain?
