Because God does not directly interfere in our lives. We understand right and wrong and are allowed to make our own choices.

If God didn't want us to kill each other, then why did he allow the man who invented the handgun to think of it???

Do you really think that because somebody invented a piercing gun that it's ok to use it? With this line of thinking, it then becomes ok to kill each other with handguns just because somebody was allowed to invent it. Just because we can do something doesn't mean we should do it.

As for the piercings, you have to make your own decisions. If you are a Christian, read the Bible and decide for yourself. The Bible tells us that our bodies are a temple to God. Many Christians believe that mutilations of the body (including piercings and tattoos) are against God and defile what He gave you.

Personally, I believe that God did not intend for us to make permanent changes to our body. Your body is a gift from God and you should take care of it.

Does piercing make you a bad person? Do you have reason to believe that what you did is wrong? If you believe piercing is wrong, then apologize, remove your piercings, and don't do it again. Isn't it wonderful that God will forgive us for our mistakes?

We are all sinners. The important thing is trying not to do the wrong thing and asking forgiveness when you fail.

Ultimately, your piercings are between you and God and nobody else can make the decision for you.

My father and grandparents told me that also, but let me get my ears pierced when I was 7. I think it just something they say to try and keep us from putting holes and/or scars where we may not want them when we are their age!

ur expressing urself. learn from ur mistakes and move on.peoples words will only continue to bother u until u forgive urself and become truly comfortable with urself and the decisions u have made in life. everything happens for a reason, God knows what he's doin and its not for us to understand all the the time y we go thru what we do!

all it really depends on if your a good person or not is your attitude and how you act...if your soul is good then you are a good person.

I can honestly say that any problems you are experiencing in your life obviously stem from getting piercings.
