    Approx. 30 g from fiber rich foods, not supplements, 5 fruits, or 5 veges or a combination of the two will bring you close.

    Instead of amount I will say that it is the proper quantity of fibers that flushes your intestines without trouble.

    25g for a 2000 calorie diet or 30g for a 2500 cal diet
