Dryer producing steam??

It has been taking our dryer forever to dry clothes. It seems to be making steam, which makes the clothes wetter. We cleaned out the whole dryer hose and inside the bottom of the washer. The bottom of the washer had water in it, we emptyed it once and in a few days, it did the same thing. Has anyone ever heard of this?? Do you know how to fix it??

I was having that same problem, I would go to check on the cloths and your right it was hot steamy wet inside the dryer. I went out side and cleaned some clumps inside the vent and it fixed the problem right away you must have a clump in there somewhere. they do sell those dryer wand to reach in there farther. Good luck.

if your washer has water left in the bottom and clothes are wetter then normal check the drain tube and pump for clog. If its just the dryer not drying take out the lint screen and wash it with soap and hot water. Dryer sheet and fab softner plug the screen even if you cant see it. Place water on the lint screen if the water won't go through it neither will the air
