Yes, and I find it really hard to deal with. Drives me crazy actually.
We have just one bathroom/toilet and work was being done so all the water was turned off. Then they didn't finish the work in one day so it had to stay turned off. I had to go to the local supermarket evry time I needed a pee!
I really, really, really missed running water!
However, years ago, I used to work on sailboats in the West Indies and the water tanks were quite small so we had to be very cautious about our water usage - definitely none of that leavilng the water running while you brush your teeth (why do people do that anyway?). I used to be so thrilled when we reached a new island and I could actually have a real shower and , oh heaven, shampoo my hair. All that saltwater bathing in the meantime was hard on the skin
You certainly don't realize how much you love clean, running water, until it's gone!

Yes. I went to a summer camp for a month when i was a teenager. There was no running water, nor indoor toilets. Bathing was limited, as the lake wasn't all that clean. All in all, I much prefer running water. We have the technology, why not use it?

YES, many times, and guess what, EVERYONE should be OBLIGATED to go without 'running water' for at least a week or two, and they would smarten up an AWFUL lot about wasting this precious resource.
You don't really MISS something until it's NOT THERE for you to WASTE.

Unfortunately I had to for about three days when one of the pipes leading into my apartment building broke. Half the building didn't have water. It sucked. It isn't fun.
