Can someone point me in the right direction to find out how to make an MP3 from a CD?

I need to send one in an email. I have no idea where to start. Someone told me I could use MusicMatch but so far I haven't been able to.

I need it explained so that even I can understand it.

if You Have Windows XP(with Windows Media Player)

try the 'RIP' Tab(3rd from left in the top).

insert the audio disc and click on the Rip Music button after selecting the tracks to be converted to MP3

if you have CD-RW then just open Windows Media Player then go to Tab BURN (version 10). From here you can add around 100 mp3s with high quality ...

Another way, you can follow, is try to use Nero Burning to burn mp3s ... its EASY dude .. ;)
