If he has pushed the boundaries of standards, I haven't witnessed it. Asking hard questions you already know the answers to in hopes of getting others to realize their position is incoherent does not even approach the boundary.

I think that Jim is fun and it can be interesting to watch him stir up the hornets nest sometimes, but I think a gentler approach is needed. I think the world needs to spend less time arguing about religion and more time embracing our similarities and enjoying our differences.
What another person does spiritually is their own business and their own right. What right do any of us have to try to change their mind or make them feel bad about their choices? I am not saying that Jim does that with intention, but I think there are lots of folks who think they are taking a thought provoking route and are really just mean. Live and let live, I say.
Peace!

1. No, it's not. Jim doesn't (usually) pose questions in an antagonistic manner - he asks the questions that need to be asked. Theists should be proud to have him here. The untested faith is the unworkable faith...
2. He recently said that he didn't know if it was worth carrying on in the face of building antagonism, but I think we'll see him back here soon enough. What else is he going to do at the office? His job?

Ya### is afraid of controversial agents; don't know how to handle them. I think athat we need a forum for all controversial thought... it couldn''t hurt but liven up the atmosphere. Yahoo got mad at me because I misspelled some words after carpal tunnel surgery last week and they sent me a letter. I explained what had happened but I never got an answere back from them. They do not answer inquiries, apparently, so it is up to us. I'm kewl and open to controversy as long as it doesn't hurt anyone...some of these surfers are young, very young, and yahoo doesn't seem to care about them. I don't like it when someone kicks these kids buts and takes their number but does not really answer their questions...they just delete their answers and think that they are doing their job. Please forgive my typos as I am still in recovery...yahoo does not seem to have any tolerance for things outside the norm...I'm really sorry about Jim Darwin and hope that they will free him soon. He could just change his name and come back...have you checked on him to tell him that?

Jim is an OK guy. There's a lot more people on here that I would rather see gone. But not to worry, I'm sure he'll be back in soon.
Actually, bergice... he's still here... or at least one of his incarnations is :)

Old hippie here too. I think you are right, don't let the evil atheist sarcasm's get to you, like pagans they don't understand how Christians can love each others without shame.

I like his questions, and some of his answers. Granted, some questions seem to seek out pushing the boundries, some seem to be honest questions, that make us think. Personally, I like him around, just for the times he made me think. I hope he sticks around, and I wish people would leave him be, I like him here.

Sometimes the antagonism, mean spiritedness, and silliness by all parties gets tiresome. I'm sure he'll be back. All conversations are enriched by having many voices.

Could you please reword that so it uses correct grammar and is coherent?
Edit: My problem is that I can't read gibberish.
Oh, and not only was paradiseemperatorbluepinguin's answer irrelevant, it was a baseless ad hominum attack and a generalization about both atheists and pagans. Through his comment he has clearly shown himself to be intolerant.

No, this section is not better off without him! Jim_Darwin is a god and he will return way before Jesus does!
