Cheap film development?

I recently got married and decided to buy 10 disposable cameras for the tables. Now, I'm thinking about having them developed, but I dont want to spend $60 developing the film. Does anyone know a cheaper option to the normal prices?

Update:

Actually, in the midst of all of the other wedding planning, I seemed to have not thought about something like having this film developed. I made sure our professional pictures were taken care of, but the disposable cameras were a last minute thought. Thanks for your help.

If you can find someone who has a Sam's Club membership take them there. They send them off to a professional lab (no cheap in store place like their cheaper Walmarts) and are VERY affordable. It is about 3 dollars for a roll. The only downside is that it can take a couple of days to get them back b/c they do send them to a lab. My dad is a photographer on the side and uses Sam's for snapshots developing b/c they are so affordable and do a better job than any of the other chain stores that over developing. Good luck! I hope you have many good memories on the cameras!

Do not use Wal-mart. These people do NOT know what they are doing. Unless you want your irreplaceable photos ruined, don't take them there. Try Target or Cord. Frankly, I don't know why you're being cheap with the devloping. You had to know when you bought 10 disposable cameras that there would be a cost in the developing the film unless you have a dark room in your house. This should have been included in your wedding budget.

You're taking a big chance if you go somewhere because it's cheap. You'd only have yourself to blame if the pictures turn out less attractive than what you expected, or if they're ruined all together.

Try Walmart or Walgreens. Just order an index print. Most of the pictures were taken by wedding guests and they will not turn out (for example, photos taken without a flash). Only order the pictures that look good.

    go to snapfish.com

you can order mailers to send them in or you can print a label to put on your envelope.

Their prints are so much better than walmart! I think they charge like 10cents per print and they have a lot of packages (wallets, 8x10, 5x7) and gift items (you can even have them put them in a hard-back coffee table book). I've used them for 2 years and have never once been disappointed with the price or developing.

I heard that Walmart can put the pictures directly to cd and that it was cheaper than printing them all. Then you could print off the good ones yourself as there is usually a lot of prints that don't come out the best. Also check out shutterfly or snapfish, i think you can send in the camera to them as well. Good luck & Congrats!!

Walmart will probably turn out the cheapest. Not only is it fairly inexpensive to have it developed there, if there are pictures you don't want (ex: someone mooning the camera, no flash, etc) then you don't have to buy them. I would say that's the best way to go.
