  • Do I need a home theatre system - if so what kind?

I have a smaller television that I want to mount on the wall in my new exercise room. When the treadmill is on the tv isnt loud enough to hear. What is my best option (and cheapest) for making the tv louder? I looked on the back of the tv and ther earent any places to connect speakers, only the place to connect an antena and the red, white and yellow connections for a dvd player. If I purchase a home theatre system will it connect to my tv, or is there another option, something I dont know of?

  • How do you unclog a vacuum cleaner hose?

I have a Bissell vacuum cleaner, but I think it's just like any vacuum cleaner. I didnt notice the bag was full and of course I kept using it and it caused a clog in the hose. Does anyone know how to removed the clog? I dont know if it matters but it's mostly clogged with dog hair. I've tried taking a wire coat hanger and pusing it into the hose. I put a curve in the end but all that happened was I pulled out a straight hanger, no hair.

  • Re-training a dog?

We have two dogs. One is five, the other is a year old. The one who is five was trained to scratch at the door when he wants in or out. This has ruined our back door and I've had to paint various doors inside as well. When we have guests we usually either put them outside or in the guest room. The youngest usually just goes and lays down and lets the older one do all of the scratching. They usually sleep in our room at night but I'm tired of tripping over them and stepping on them, not to mention listening to them licking themselves or pestering each other. I tried to put them in the guest room last night and the oldest one scratched for two hours. For about the first 20 minutes I tried to ignore him thinking he'd get tired and stop. But then I started getting up and telling him to stop. I dont know how to handle this. There's the issue of scratching just to get his way, and then there's an issue of re-teaching him where to sleep. Please help.

  • Dog with bladder problems?

Our 6 month old puppy has a bladder problem. We thought he was peeing in the house and we'd just gotten him trained. I was noticing small spots, but not like he actually went in the house. Anyway, then we noticed when he got scolded this weekend, he peed in the floor. One of those small spots. We thought maybe he scared easy, cause he was only scolded for being too rowdy. Anyway, my husband was playing with him and rolled him on his back and he squirted pee. Then when I got home I went to pet him and we was excited and running around my feet and peed on my feet. It's obvious that he's sick, but now I'll have to wait until after the weekend to take him to the vet. It's not an emergency and he doesnt seem to be in any pain. Is there something we can do for him at home until we get him to a vet?

  • Why are my dogs gross?

I know this sounds stupid but it's a ligitimate question. I have a 4 year old rott and we just got an 8week old puppy. They've finally gotten used to each other, but now they're licking each other. Like licking each other. It's really sick. Is this normal?

  • When do you start the receiving line?

I've been to formal events in which there was a receiving line. However how would this work at a wedding? Generally the receiving line would be as the guests enter right? So if the wedding part is delayed in taking pictures and the guest head over to the reception and start at the buffet, how does the receiving line work?
