No. If you close the door slowly you will see the light go off just before closing. There is a button inside towards the hinges of the door that gets pushed in as the door closes.

Just push the button on the side of the fridge, and you will find that when the door closes it will push this button, thus shutting off the light.

When you close it the fridge opens up a portal to another dimension. In that dimension, little space people who have been held captive by the "Refridgeration Federation of the Universe". This federation goes around the universe and takes helpless beings in chains to do their bidding. They keep the small aliens in a little captule, where they have to press the on and off button to refridgerator lights for the rest of eternity. Ask your doctor if a refridgerator is right for you.

No,as soon as the door passes through a certain angle, like 145 degrees, the light shuts off.You can find this to be true by closing the door slowly and notice that just before you shut it , the light goes out,

No it does not. The door pushes against a switch that turns it off when closed. It's usually at the top (middle) of the door frame. It's pretty easy to find. You can push it yourself and turn the light off.

Nope, there's usually a switch that the door hits on its way to being closed. If you feel along the top of your fridge, you can probably hit it and turn the light off.
Either that or it's magic.
