Alchemy Recipies?
Hi. I'm an alchemist, but i have limited resorces. So far i've only done stuff with fire alchemy. Do you have any beginner level alchemical recipies that can be done with household items? Serious answers only, please. I didn't waste 5 points to be critized be the closed-minded.

50g saltpeter
50g sugar
Melt together and let harden. Put in fuse and throw. Makes a nice smokescreen...
Also, get saltpeter, sulfer, and charcoal and you can mix them together in water, NO HEAT, and let them cure (dry out) for a few weeks. Put a LONG fuse in and light it and RUN. (Blackpowder)
Making Alcohol was an old alchemist's delight. Look up moonshine on Google, Wiki, or Yahoo. (NOTE: Making alcohol in attempt to sell, drink, or distribute requires a permit.)
Try e-bay or your local flee market for ingredients but I doubt you can have them shipped legally without some friction from the government.
Note: REMEMBER to wear a mask and goggles and KEEPAWAY FROM OPEN FLAMES. If you spill saltpeter on your, well, you-know-what, it will do a form of chemical castration.

I had no clue there was a serious modern interpretation of alchemy. What sort of stuff do you do? I am a science teacher, and love the history of alchemey as being the foundation for modern chemistry. What sort of stuff do you do now?
