What would you think if they changed the style of Chevy driven in Nascar from a Monte Carlo, would you be mad?

Chevy/GM lovers only....with the annoucement that Chevy/GM is bringing the Camaro back, I hope the don't take away my beloved Monte Carlo. What do you think?

"Here come Dale Jr down the back stretch in the Budweiser Camaro" or "Tony Stweart in the Hope Depot Camaro" doesn't have the same ring to it as the Monte Carlo.

Update:

I think it's a sales decision based on what car they need to sell more of. Look at the new Dodge Charger (my second love next to the Monte). However, I think they do very well with the Monte Carlo because of Nascar. Perhaps we will see the Blazer the truck race!!!!! Has the Camaro ever been run by Chevy in Nascar?

You are right but change just keeps on happening.

It is a bout the money. Chevy says what it is cause they pay the bills.

I'd like to see the 'Cutlass"

Here comes Dale Jr in the Budweiser Cavalier. Yup.

Gotta tell you, serious biz, cause I don't think anyone has told you yet, NASCAR isn't a sport. It's a bunch of guys driving around in a circle.

Source(s): By the way, both Monte Carlo and Camaro are coupes. A four door car is a sedan.

And would the fact that you or I got mad about it change anything? You really think Chevy and/or Nascar will base their decision on fans opinions????

Aero-equal cars have ruined the whole brand loyalty thing.... It's not going to be a Camaro, just called one , so who cares whatthey want to call it.

There are zero Monte Carol parts in a NASCAR, so it really doesn't matter what they call it.

No i wouldnt be angry, because the "style" of the car is just a sticker that they slap on it.
