I beleive that we are very near now. I read the bible and watch prophecy being fullfilled almost everyday. Who beleives in the Rapture?
Okay n/p let me elaborate. The writing on the wall in Daniel 5:25 is the one that pops into my mind given the war in Israel and Lebanon. And please people you don't have to rude just because you aren't a beleiver. I was just asking

I do! I look around and compare the status quo with the things that were predicted to take place during the Last Days according to Revelation and I can't deny that His return is both imminent and close at hand!

Revelation almost didn't make it into the final canon of the Christian Bible, but it was kept in because the redactors like the strong image it portrayed of Jesus.
A historical-critical interpretation is a good way to read that book. This means you have to research the time and environment it was written, and reading other eschatological text will help put the book into context for you as well.
Furthermore, every generation of Christians have thought they were the last since Jesus died almost 2,000 year ago. People get particularly nervous around millennial changes for some reason as well.
As for the rapture: premillenial dispensationalism is a very, very new concept in Christian theology.

Yes, the rapture of the saints is near, even at the door. Only in this generation have so many of the prophesies spoken of in Daniel, the gospels and Revelation been possible. Those who refuse to see the signs are willfully blind. They don't want to believe, they don't want to see, they don't want to see Jesus coming to earth as He promised. The Bible is the only book with proven fulfilled prophesy, there is no reason to think that the prophesies yet to be fulfilled will not happen also.

yes i believe in the rapture and that the end times are very close at hand. for those who don't believe they had better open their eyes and see reality. seriously take a look at all that is going on in our world and you can tell that it will be soon. our generation is being prepared to fight in the ultimate battle and that can only mean that the time is coming when the Lord will take his home and judge those left.

The Second Coming of Jesus, yes. The rapture, no. Rapture is not even in the bible and the word means extreme happiness or joy. Although there will be extreme rapture when Jesus comes, the Coming is what I believe in, not just the joy.

We are witnessing the decline of the earth’s environment and resources, a prophetic fulfillment of the Bible.
At the Fourth SEAL, one-fourth part of the earth is to be destroyed before we move forward to the next Seal events (Re.6:7-8 below).
Once the one-fourth part is destroyed, we will move through the SEAL events, followed by the Seven TRUMPET events, and, finally, the Seven Last PLAGUE events.
When the world faces acts of terrorism are we not facing beasts of the earth (Re.6:8, Jude 1:10-11, Titus 1:12, 2 Pet.2:11-13 below)?
Re.6:7And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.
Re.6:8And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the FOURTH PART of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
Beasts of the Earth -
Jude 1:10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
Jude 1:11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain (1 Jn.3:12, Matt.13:38), and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
Titus 1:12 One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.
2 Pet 2:11 Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.
2 Pet.2:12 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;
2 Pet.2:13 And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;

One question at a time girl....Yes we are living in the End times.
But do you know what the term end times means and of which time period in history it is referring to ?, that is the Bible i am talking about...Well the end times began with the first coming of Jesus and it will be complete at the second coming of Jesus, so even if Jesus returns in two mor thousand years from now, that to will be called the end times,, in 1500 years from now. Do you get my point... It is a time period, not a month or a year...

The End of the World has been predicted almost continuously throughout history. You can take any set of vague prophecies and apply them to any time in history.

The end of the world has been predicted since the beginning of writing. So I would say, "No, we are not." However, like in every age, we have an opportunity to create our own future by the words and deeds we commit to today. Seek life and hope and this is what you fill find.

No! The world is not going to end any time soon. There is no such thing as biblical prophecy. Wake up and join the real world.
