I recently installed a NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS video card into my cpu (Dell Dimension, Win XP). I have noticed that when I try to play some games (flash), the screen is messed up. The games appear jumbled, one part on top of another, etc.. Is there anything I can do to rectify this?

I recently installed a new video card (Nvidia GeForce 8400) into my system (Dell Dimension 3000, Win XP). After installing it and the drivers everything was fine, except my start button, menu and task bar are missing. I have tried different settings, still gone. When I did get into the control panel, I clicked on the "start menu, task bar" icon, but nothing came up. Where did it go and how do I get it back?

I have a Dell Dimension 3000 (Win. XP, Pentium 4, 1 GB RAM). When I watch streaming TV or movies, often the picture is slow or hesitates. Would a new or better video card solve this? I currently have a cable modem (10 mb download speed) connected to a linksys router (with two other computers).

Within the last couple of months, we have been experiencing internet drop out problems. We have Quest DSL. We have a new modem, have checked the router by plugging one of our ethernet cables directly into the modem, bypassing the router, still problem. We have replaced the phone line from the jack all the way to the outside box. We have had repairmen come out twice, once with a new modem, the other said the wire was shorting out, which caused us to run the wire directly into the box, as he said to do. Two days after doing this, is starting going on and off again. I am out of ideas, anyone have a solution?

I have iTunes on a windows machine (XP). When I try to access the iTunes store and download, I get an error (unknown error -9812) and it tells me try later, of course, "later" I get the same message. Any idea what is causing this and how to fix it?

From time to time, when on-line, I will get the "blue screen" when I click on some pages. I then have to shut down completely and restart. This never happened before installing Firefox 3.0. Why is this happening and what can I do to remedy it?

I have, what I think is, chemical burns on my arms. I won't be able to see the doctor for a couple of weeks. What is the best over the counter remedy to help speed the healing process and get rid of the itching?

Due to our flooding, I received some grants for repairs and replacement of items lost. We received three from my wife's workplace and one from FEMA. Are these grants considered income and taxed as such?

I recently purchased a 97 Grand Prix from a private owner. We realized after the purchase that the keyless lock/unlock thing doesn't work. The trunk button works, but not the other two. Is there a way to get a replacement and who do I go to in order to get one?

Obviously, I need one that is compatible and comparable or better then what is in there now. And, I don't want to spend a whole lot on it, or I would just buy a new computer.

I think I know the answer to this, want to see if anyone else does. In the 2008 presidential election, barring Dick Cheney running, we will have two candidates, neither of which are a sitting president or vice president. When was the last time this happened?

I have one team which has both Deuce McCallister and Reggie Bush. One is a known player with injury problems and the other was great in college but an unknown in the pros. I need to get rid of one since I don't like having two backs from the same team. Who do I try to trade? No free agents available that are worth much either "sigh"
