If France and Israel were at war, who would win?

Israel would win because they have F-16 fight falcons not the Mirage or Euro Jet.

They also have advanced Paratroopers, Armored Corps, Helicopter Squadrons, and Artillery Battalions.

The only thing that France has is the Foreign Legion.

This is if no one supported either because the EU would support France and the USA/UK would support Israel, and the Muslim nations would kill anyone they pleased.

Consider that Israel has only a coastal navy, while France has the third greatest navy of the world. So, France could reach Israel, while Israel not. But the expeditionary force sent by Paris, even supported by the aircrafts of the De Gaulle carrier, should meet first with the formidable strength of Israeli Air Force, and after a very difficult landing with the armors of the Israeli Army. Try to imagine what could happen at the Falkland if Argentina had the weapons and the soldiers of the Israeli Armed Forces.

However, if France and Israel were really at war there would not be a direct clash, but an embargo by French Navy, eventually supported by the Arab States along Israeli borders.

I could never see France winning a war so I would have to go with Israel.

Israel would overwhelm the France within minutes

France would win. because they have more cooperation with the U.S. and the U.N. France has superior firepower and more technology. Isreal would not win. because if someone went to war with Isreal the muslim states would also declare war on Isreal seeing that as their advantage. France has superior military. Isreal would not be able to handle a war with a true nation, Isreal is barely a state. but there should be no reason for them to go to war. France and Isreal are allies, and friends. also France is part of the U.N. or United Nations.

lol. Israel would win hands down. Personally, I find it tough to respect any military responsible for something like the Maginot Line. And France's need to import bravery says something. (IE: french foreign legion) Plus, Israel's got ALOT of experience in warfare. Not just recently. The "6day war" was just that. 6 days. They were attacked by multiple countries in the 60's and whooped em hard. Now they've got even more experience.

If France and Israel were at war it would have stopped with in a day with the sincere efforts of USA and UNO too

The State of Texas could take out France. Israel should have no problem.
