Mr. Clean magic erasers - I use them on EVERYthing!

Rubbing static-y clothes with a dryer sheet - makes them stop sticking (after laundry or carried in purse for static at work).

Shop in bulk and use the large/family-size/business-size bottles to re-fill smaller containers (like shampoo, body wash, oatmeal, pet food...) saves a ton of money because buying smaller packages costs more in the long run.

Keep new batteries in the freezer - they will last an average of a year longer than just kept in a closet.

Keep everyone's schedule in one place in the home on or next to a message board so that you can plan things together too.

Keep A/C set on 78 - keeps the house steady cool and saves on electricity. Also, clean your filters regularly to improve air flow and quality and to keep the unit from straining to draw air, which also eats up electricity.

Cook meals in bulk on a day when you have time, then freeze portions in freezer bags so you have meals ready to heat up on nights when you have little time to prepare them. (Examples: Cook large amounts of pasta, ground meat, etc. and part up into meal-size or serving-size bags to freeze now and quickly re-heat when you need it.)

Save gallon jugs (from juice, water or milk), wash thoroughly and brew tea, storing it in the jugs. Saves money from buying instant tea mix. You can get 100 tea bags for $1.00. The same amount of tea you can make from instant would cost over $24.00.

this one is a oldie but a goodie. Fill nail holes in your wall with toothpaste (regular paste). It dries white and you can paint right over it.
