All of a sudden, I can't make calls and my phone is sitting on "Searching SVC" even after rebooting it. The store here is closed of course, so I can't get any answers!

XP desktop booting with this bluescreen error, unable to find this file name on the web for help... can anyone please walk me through a fix for this??

We have a family friend (a girl, 14) who has been expressing concern to us over her Confirmation. Her family is Catholic, but she does not consider herself Catholic and is extremely uncomfortable with this being forced on her. For the weeks leading up to today's Confirmation, she kept telling us she didn't want to do it, but was afraid to tell her parents for fear of punishment. Her Confirmation was today and she was crying the entire time before the ceremony, felt scared by the priest and her family and went through with it even though she keeps saying she didn't want to. I am not familiar with the Catholic faith (was raised Southern Baptist) so I wanted to know if this girl could have denied her confirmation, and what the consequences would have been? She feels horrible now and does not want to live with this decision - she didn't want to do it.

I was just released from the hospital with Cellulitis and was given 6 or 7 antibiotics over the course of my stay. The doctors are aware that I am allergic to penicillins but gave it to me anyway, along with Benadryl for the body rash that came with it. They discharged me with a script for Augmentin (penicillin based antibiotic) because it was the one my cellulitis responded to the best and they said I MUST take it for 14 days, but I am still dealing with an itchy whole-body rash. I have not had trouble breathing however. Has my doctor weighed the benefits against the side-effects? Is it safe to keep taking the Augmentin with Benadryl? Will I eventually become desensitized to the Augmentin? (I can't reach my doctor on the weekend.)

I was just hospitalized for 7 days with a cut on my leg that got severely infected and turned into cellulitis. From mid-shin to foot was bright red, maximally swollen and the pain was debilitating (could not step on it for 6 days). The swelling is almost gone but I still have a lot of pain in my ankle and the lower leg skin. I was sent home with continued antibiotics and told to take Tylenol (heh). Wondering how long this pain is supposed to last before an infection this serious heals.

IE: How many times a day can they call you? Can they continue to call if you have told them to communicate in writing only? Can they continue to call if you have told them they have the wrong number?

While well aware of the benefits of this supplement, I am having trouble finding a way to actually *take* it. The bottle says to take 15 drops in a spoon of warm water. Alternately, I have tried adding it to a cup of tea as well. This stuff is so STICKY however, all it does is stick to (and ruin) spoons, cups, etc., even sticks to my teeth, it's horrible. Is there a way to take this tincture and actually be able to ingest it without having it stick to everything else on the way?

Beginner here, trying to find some songs I can learn the chords to!

Many times, while I was out walking my dog at night (in South and Central Florida), I would come home to discover long welts across my arms or the side of my face.

Now, I did not feel anything sting or bite me while I was out, but by the time I got home, there was a burning/itching sensation and upon getting into the light, I would see the red, raised welts on my skin, anywhere from 2 to 6 inches long in a slightly curved line.

Washing them hurt and Cortisone helped a bit, but they still itched badly for days. It almost seems as if an insect dragged its stinger across my skin as it ran into me and then went on its way.

I was not in contact with any plants when these dragging stings occurred, I was walking down the middle of the road. The marks do not resemble mosquito bites at all (as I feel those immediately and they just leave one small bump on me).

Does anyone have any ideas what this mystery stinging insect could have been?

A man who is running for Mayor locally has begun a telemarketing campaign where he is calling every single local number he can get his hands on and leaving his "vote for me!" voice mails to everyone.

I have called back the number that comes up on my caller ID and it goes straight to a voice mail. I have left numerous messages on there telling them to take my number off their list, that it is a private number, it is on the National Do Not Call List, and that it is a cell phone which means I am the one paying for their wasting of my minutes to check and erase my voice mails.

They have been calling for weeks, several times a day leaving these messages, and will not stop even after MANY requests to do so.

I have a male and female in a large cage (plenty of flying room, plus they're given free-flight in the house) and once in a while one of them (they both do it) will latch onto a perch and beat their wings super fast without actually taking off. I do not clip them. The other bird usually just ignores it, like if the male is beating his wings, the female will will just look up at him and go back to eating. Why do they do this?
