Healthy Way To Prepare Ramen Noodles?
I love Ramen Noodles, even though I know it's not the best thing for me. But as a college student, they're cheap and quick.
My question is, has anybody made Ramen Noodles in a healthier way? I know lessening the seasoning packet or omitting it is one way. Is there any other?

get rid of the seasoning packet, it's mostly salt anyway. Cook the noodles in chicken broth, you can get the canned kind with low sodium, then spice it up with Mrs. Dash, grate some carrots into them, throw in some peas or edamame, cubed ham - you can make an entire meal pretty cheaply, and way better for you.

I always add frozen veggies, as well as some meat (shrimp, beef strips, etc) to the ramen, as well as some sesame oil, and cut back on the seasoning packet. The seasoning packet is almost all salt, and the noodles don't have any real nutritional value.

Use half the seasoning to lower the salt content and throw in veggies and chicken or ham. Also you can eat them with mashed potatoes which means you don't need butter with the potatoes because the ramen noodles are enough flavor, just season the potatoes too.

I like to put som diced chicken and som frozen vegies. boil that first then add the ramen. Its easy & a little healthier than plain ramens. U can add the season packet if desired or omit the chicken

add veggies if you can afford to. but don't worry, i also (like many a college student) lived on ramen noodles for a couple of years, and i survived. now i'm eating healthier and my body has forgiven me for that abuse!
i used to mix mine with broccoli and cheese.

Any food I cook that requires boiling - I cook it in a canned broth or stock. Either beef broth (low sodium), chicken broth (low fat) or vegetable stock. Add
Instead of Raman noodles - why not egg noodles cooked in the broth.

there is no such thing as "healthy" ramen noodles. what you could do is skip the flavor pack and add a bouillion cube, then add some boiled chicken and veggies or seafood and veggies. will taste ALOT better and will be somewhat more healthier.

instead of season packet put spagetti sauce on it (buy one that is resealable so you can use it over again) it does not take much.
Or you can just add louis rich precooked chicken with a teaspoon of ranch , and tsp. of bacon bits
