What is up with Derrek Lee?
I have had derrek lee in my fantasy lineup all season and last time they said he was back and he ended up hurt again does anyone know how he is doing with his wrist injury and if he is back for the next few weeks until the season is over? Just answer my topic question.

Stupid Cubs brought him back to soon, he reinjured the wrist, and is now just coming back, after the season is a complete wash. Don't expect much from Lee for the duration of this season because the Cubs can't afford to get him hurt again in what amount to meaningless games. He'll play, but remember the rosters expand in Sept, so they'll give their young prospects a chance to play in order to get interest from other teams, because the cubs have Lee locked up; he's not going anywhere, so first base for that club is a dead-end for other firstbasemen in that system. Add Lee's wrist to the mix and you can see that you shouldn't expect much; wrist injuries to power hitters like Lee are tough to come back from quickly. The next time you see Lee back at full strength won't be until opening day next season, at which point he should be fine.

I agree with some people when they say that D. Lee is just off the DL, but u just gotta cut him some slack from a painful wrist injury. Unlike those other sons of bitches, they don't know half of what its like to get a wrist injury and be out for 3 months so cut the poor guy some slack

He came back at the beginning of the Cubs-Pirates series last week. Initially, he fractured his wrist after colliding with Rafael Furcal of the Dodgers on a close play at first base. After spending a few months on the disabled list, he came back. He went back on the disabled list because he said when he would dive, his wrist wasn't strong enough to brace himself, and he didn't want to risk further injury. He says he hopes to play for the remainder of the season.
For fantasy, I would recommend either dropping him or not playing him. If you're looking for a first baseman, try picking up a Lyle Overbay or Nick Swisher kind of guy, they're pretty under rated, so chances are they'll be on the waiver list, depending on the size of your league.

He is back playing about every other day now. He's not 100% yet, and probably wont be for the rest of the season. They are not going to take any chances with him, and he's not going to try too hard since it's obvious the Cubs aren't going anywhere. I wouldn't expect him to put up any big numbers for the rest of this season. You are better off picking up a first baseman on a team that is in playoff contention.

He's trying to come back from the wrist injury, but it's tough. If you can drop him and grab somebody else up you'll probably get more production out of them.

That looks plausible to me. have they were given the opportunities for him? i ought to like to be certain derek lee lengthy gone from the critical. Aramis Ramirez, Lance Berkamn, Roy Oswalt, Prince Fielder ought to all be outstanding to get have off of the reds again. Them adult males have destroyed the Reds.....Im drained of them adult males and plus their communities are garbage besides. that ought to nicely be my dream scenairio for the Reds.

He sucks, that's what happened. He always sucked. He was supposed to hit 60 HR's last season, but since he sucks, he couldn't do it.
